GeraRide for Business: Corporate Ride Accounts and Billing

Managing transport for a team across multiple cities is expensive and administratively painful. GeraRide Business simplifies it — one account, one invoice, full visibility.

The Problem with Employee Transport Expenses

Ask any finance team at a growing company in Tbilisi, Kampala, or Yerevan: employee transport expense management is a nightmare. Employees pay cash or use personal cards, submit receipts of varying quality weeks later, and finance spends hours reconciling expenses that should take minutes. Fraud is hard to detect. Policy compliance is impossible to enforce in real time.

GeraRide Business solves this at the account level, not the receipt level.

How Corporate Accounts Work

A company registers a GeraRide Business account and adds employees as users. Employees book rides through their standard GeraRide app — the only change is that rides taken for work are tagged to the corporate account at the time of booking, not claimed weeks later. The company's card or bank account is charged directly. Employees never need to pay out of pocket or submit receipts for covered rides.

Spend Controls and Policy Enforcement

Corporate accounts include configurable spend controls:

  • Per-ride limits — set a maximum fare per trip to prevent misuse
  • Time-of-day restrictions — allow work rides only during business hours, or extend coverage for late-working employees
  • Destination rules — restrict rides to approved locations (office, airport, client sites) or flag unusual destinations for review
  • Department budgets — allocate monthly transport budgets per team or cost centre

Invoicing and Expense Reports

Every ride generates a VAT-compliant receipt automatically. Monthly consolidated invoices are available by department, employee, project code, or cost centre. Reports export directly to common accounting formats. The result: what used to be a full day of monthly finance work takes under ten minutes.

Fleet Management for Larger Operations

Companies that regularly transport clients, visitors, or field staff can pre-book rides up to 72 hours in advance. Recurring routes — office-to-airport runs, daily site visits — can be scheduled automatically. A dedicated account manager is assigned to enterprise accounts with more than 50 active employees.

Coverage Across Emerging Markets

If your business operates across multiple countries in Africa, the Caucasus, or Central Asia, GeraRide offers a unified account that works across all covered markets. One invoice, one account, local currency in each country. Managing employee transport in Yerevan, Tbilisi, and Kampala simultaneously is handled from a single dashboard.
